Grancorp Holdings LLC is a family-owned real estate investment company with a proud history spanning over three decades. Our roots can be traced back to 1986 when we were established as a subsidiary of a Swedish real estate investment firm. Since then, we have been actively involved in the acquisition, development, and repositioning of commercial real estate properties across the West Coast, particularly in Washington, Oregon, and California.
In 1994, Michael and Jill Heijer acquired GranCorp and have been at the helm ever since. The Heijer family has deep ties to the Pacific Northwest, having relocated to Seattle after graduating from UC Berkeley in 1985. With Michael serving as President and Jill as Vice-President, the family has brought a wealth of expertise and experience to the company.
In 2019, Alexander Heijer, Michael and Jill’s son, joined GranCorp as a Managing Director, bringing his own unique perspective and background as an investment banker in San Francisco.
